Respiratory and Cardiac Responses to Airborne Particles

Michael R. Van Scott received a B.S. in Physiology from Cornell University in 1981 and Ph.D. in Physiology from West Virginia University in 1984. His dissertation research was conducted at the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health under the direction of Vincent Castranova, Ph.D. From 1984 to 1990, he studied under Dr. Richard Boucher at the Cystic Fibrosis Center in the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, first as a post-doctoral fellow and then as a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine.
